"Headmaster, it's too hard! Can I give up?"

This is a request from a S1 student during a morning run before class on a Friday morning, just after completing nearly half of the running journey. I told him: "In fact, I'm also very tired, but we have to run, we're in this together!" I put my hand on his back while another student took his hand to guide him. He finally completed the journey of nearly 3,000 meters.

I still remember his face as we jogged back to school, he was tired, but the smile on his face was of content. It is such a precious thing to let him realize how precious the results of hard work is!

This year, the school selected some potential students at each level to participate in a training course called

"The Star Dream Project"

We have found that many young people are very talented. If they are not well discovered and cultivated, their talents will slowly bury themselves in the crowd over time. We hope to nurture a future social leader for Hong Kong. We also believe that the most basic condition for becoming a good leader is to learn to be persistent and be willing to serve others and to have good spirit and health. Therefore, in the first stage of training, our goal is to teach students to persist and to not fear hardship.

The training includes weekly running every week, going to the pet adoption center for pet cleaning and cleaning the venue, participating in different community services, etc. In short, let them learn to suffer and be willing to pay for others. Students who can get through will enter the second stage. We will arrange different training for our students, including interpersonal communication, self-management, life planning and leadership quality training...

We hope to find each of them a mentor in life and help them grow.

In addition, we also hope that we can arrange different challenges for them. We hope that this summer, we can lead them to the snowy mountains of Taiwan. Therefore, before challenging Taiwan's Snow Mountain, we will prepare a series of training for them to ensure that they have sufficient skills and strength. Although I don't know if we can succeed in the end, I always believe that as long as there are dreams and goals, success will not be too far away. As a headmaster, the next difficulty is to find resources for them to ensure that they have the right training and equipment to let them know, that as long as they have dreams and persistence, life will be brilliant and splendid. The impossible will become possible.
